Located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country, Terrain Dundee is an innovative and landscape-focused mixed-use development comprising a marketplace, viticulture center, event space, hotel, and spa along the principal highway through the Yamhill Valley.
Designed in close partnership with PLACE Landscape Architecture, the four-acre site balances engagement with the civic fabric of the community with the desire to create a refuge and oasis for visitors within the city center. A series of five simple bar buildings, each decreasing in scale, act as filters that become more porous and open toward the residential edge.
A meandering pathway, lined with native plantings, passes through each building and unites Terrain into a cohesive destination, creating outdoor rooms for gathering and spaces of shelter and repose for visitors and hotel guests.
Terrain celebrates the landscape and bounty of the region, balancing community and connection with the opportunity to create a refuge within the heart of the city.
