We have a passion for clarity—transforming complex conditions into spaces of elemental beauty and enduring value.

We work with our clients and partners to solve problems, reveal insights, and create inviting architecture for every place and purpose.

Creating innovative and engaging spaces for hospitality and cultivation is an area of our work that has received acclaim from owners, patrons, developers, design writers and industry press. Whether creating a winery, hotel, destination restaurant or neighborhood café, it takes time to make something of value, abundance and meaning. We see building as a similar conversation, which requires discernment to draw out the potential of a place and its experiences.

We understand what makes spaces feel welcoming and how to serve the needs of visitors and guests, clients and communities alike. Through our inclusive process, we seek to discover how the right built response can bring a project’s vision into focus.

Notable projects include The Society Hotel in the Columbia River Gorge, an integrated winery and tasting room for Furioso Vineyards in the Dundee Hills AVA, J-Tea Tasting Room and Pavilion in Eugene, Oregon, Autocamp Sequoia in Three Rivers, California, and Corollary Wines new estate vineyard and tasting room in Oregon’s Eola-Amilty Hills.

With any form of agricultural or hospitality endeavor, it takes time and effort to truly know a place and its inherent potential.

At Waechter, we see building as a similar conversation, which requires discernment to discover a sense of belonging and appreciation.
