Waechter Architecture were approached by the City of Hood River to develop visual catalog of designs based on their updated zoning guidelines for their Westside District Middle Housing Construction Incentives.
We developed a series of potential housing solutions that illustrated and explained the development opportunities outlined under the City of Hood River's new Middle Housing Standards, comparing them to the City's conventional zoning standards. These design solutions include various housing types, such as single-family homes, detached duplexes, two-unit town homes with and without rear cottages, and four-unit cottage clusters
